Home buyer one-on-one advising is designed and recommended after taking our Home Buyer Education course. A Homeownership Advisor will assess your current mortgage readiness and explain the next steps of your home buying journey.

Homebuyer Education

Home buyer education is an 8-hour HUD certified course that goes step by step through the homebuying process. You will learn about credit, budgeting, mortgage lending terms and practices, the real estate process, title programs, down payment assistance options, and home owners' insurance. Every participant receives a Home Buyer Certificate-required by some lenders-upon completion of this course.

Financial Fitness

Financial Fitness is a class delivered in a two-part series that introduces you to financial terminology and concepts that help you better understand your own money values. The series addresses Money Beliefs and Values, Credit and Pitfalls, Personal Finance, Basic Financial Services, and Long-Term Goals. You will learn the basics of budgeting, tracking spending, paying debt, and the importance of savings and goal setting.
